Direct your gift to someone you trust.

Designated funds benefit specific charitable institutions which you “designate” when you establish the fund. If you want to select exactly which organizations you want your money to support, consider a designated fund. It lets you support the organizations you are most passionate about for years to come.

With a designated fund, you don't have to keep writing a check each year to the same organization and you might be eligible for a larger tax deduction. Starting a designated fund with the SDCF also saves you the headache of filing grant, audit, and government reports.

If you already know the organization that you would like to support, check to see if a designated fund exists below. Anyone can make a donation online. For corporate or estate gifts, contact the SDCF office for help.
