Founded in 1995 Giving Back to the Platte Area
The First Fidelity Bank & Platte Area Foundation was formed in 1995 when First Fidelity Bank challenged the communities in which they serve to raise money for the future. Thanks to the support of generous donors and the First Fidelity Bank system, $139,000 has been donated to support nonprofit initiatives in Platte.
Platte Area Foundation Mission Statement
The mission of the Platte Area Foundation is to promote philanthropy, receive and administer charitable gifts, and invest in programs that promote the social and economic well being of the people of the Platte and surrounding area.

Our Contributors
Thanks to our generous supporters, over $139,000 has been donated to the First Fidelity Bank & Platte Area Foundation since 1995. This has allowed for over $66,000 to be given back to the community in the form of grants. As our fund grows, so will the amount available each year to give back. Thomas & Maxine Bischke Scholarship Fund - To provide financial support for scholarships to individuals in the Platte community with preference given to persons pursuing a pharmacy degree.
Platte Health Center Fund - To provide financial support to the Platte Health Center.
Ralph & Frances Mitchell Fund - To provide financial support to students and hospice organizations or providers in the Platte, Chamberlain, and Kimball areas at the recommendation of a local Board of Directors.
Clarence & Bettye Mason Family Fund - To provide financial support to charitable and nonprofit purposes in the Platte area at the recommendation of the First Fidelity Platte Community Foundation Board of Directors.
