Learn about the CSA in Blunt, SD
Founded in 2006 Giving Back to the Blunt area
In 2006, Dakota State Bank in Blunt, along with other passionate individuals and businesses, came together to start the Dakota State Bank Blunt Area Foundation. A challenge was issued by the South Dakota Community Foundation that year to the community. They were asked to raise $45,000 in order to receive a $15,000 matching grant from SDCF. They completed that challenge in 2013. In 2016, Dakota State Bank merged with First Dakota National Bank, and the name was changed from Dakota State Bank Blunt Area Foundation to First Dakota National Bank Area Foundation.
