First Interstate Greater Wall Area Fund is quietly yet powerfully transforming the town of Wall and its surrounding area. Brett Blasius, a member of the Community Savings Account (CSA) Advisory Council, reflects proudly on the noticeable impact their foundation has had in the community.

What sets the Greater Wall Area Fund apart is its steadfast presence and continuous involvement. Brett shares, "Our CSA is unique because we are consistently active day after day, year after year—supporting local nonprofits and community projects. As our fund grows, the positive impact we have will only multiply."

For Brett, dedicating his time to the local CSA was an easy decision. "No other organization does as much for our local nonprofits as our CSA," he emphasizes. The council’s efforts have reached nearly every nonprofit in the area, ensuring that everyone benefits in some way. "It’s incredibly rewarding to see how generosity directly benefits our neighbors," Brett notes.

Gifts made to the CSA aren't just donations, they're meaningful investments in Wall’s future. Brett explains, "Each gift helps grow our endowment, allowing us to provide more grants annually. It’s about creating a lasting legacy that benefits future generations."

Crucial to the CSA's success is their partnership with South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF). Brett expresses deep appreciation for their collaboration, saying, "We simply couldn't achieve what we have without SDCF’s guidance and support. Their compliance team is exceptional, guiding us to manage every grant efficiently." He fondly recalls instances where SDCF staff, including Beth, personally participated in local fundraising events.
