South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) recently awarded a $20,000 South Dakota Fund grant to Face It TOGETHER, Inc. (FIT). Funding will provide additional support to their addiction wellness peer coaching services across South Dakota.

“We are incredibly grateful to the South Dakota Community Foundation for stepping in at a critical time,” said Wendy White, Chief Executive Officer, Face It TOGETHER. “This support ensures that hundreds of South Dakotans impacted by addiction will continue to receive the compassionate, data-driven coaching they need‒regardless of their ability to pay. It’s an investment in wellness, dignity, and access for those who need it most.”

FIT was founded in 2019 by community leaders and individuals impacted by addiction in Sioux Falls. With a mission to share healing and addiction wellness through connection, data and community-informed solutions, FIT provides holistic, dignity-affirming peer coaching for individuals with addiction and their loved ones. FIT’s peer model is rooted in the belief that recovery is possible for everyone, and that personalized support can make a significant difference in achieving sustained wellness.

“Fact It TOGETHER provides not only those suffering with addiction, but also their loved ones, with the tools to make recovery possible,” says Ginger Niemann, SDCF Senior Program Officer. “SDCF is proud to partner with FIT to help addiction recovery.”
