Sometimes we search too hard and far to find inspiration. In most cases, the people in your own backyard can provide the spark you need. We hope this video inspires others to instill family traditions that involve giving back. It's the best way to keep philanthropy alive and well in South Dakota.
Deb Bonte taught in the Beresford school district for over 30 years. Her commitment to education and the children of Beresford was unmatched. Before she passed away in July 2014, Mrs. Bonte started a tutor program for children in need of some extra help in school. The success of this program, and what it meant to parents, made a big difference in Beresford. This video acts as a reminder of Mrs. Bonte's commitment to education and the impact her efforts have had on children and parents alike. We hope it inspires you to help out in your community!
