$20,000 awarded to Stanley County School District

The South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) recently awarded a $20,000 South Dakota Fund grant to Stanley County School District. Funding will aid in the purchase of new equipment for their Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes.

$2,500 Awarded to Family Connection

South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) recently awarded a $2,500 South Dakota Fund grant to Family Connection. Funding will be used to create “To-Go” kits. The kits include age-appropriate items for children and helpful information for parents or caregivers about things they can do to help the children in their lives recover from the life changing experience of having an incarcerated loved one.

$10,000 awarded to Veterans Community Project

South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) recently awarded a $10,000 South Dakota Fund grant to Veterans Community Project (VCP). Funding will help support Veterans Support Services, which impacts the lives of Veterans at risk of and experiencing homelessness in the Sioux Falls region.

To provide financial support for charitable purposes at the recommendation of the Donors.

Marilyn Hohm Hoyt Family Fund

To provide financial support to charitable and nonprofit purposes in the Huron community at the recommendation of the Huron Community Foundation Advisory Council.

Steele USD English Department Fellowship Fund

To provide financial support to the University of South Dakota English Department as designated by the Donor.

Steele USD Phi Beta Kappa Fund

To provide financial support to the University of South Dakota Phi Betta Kappa organization as designated by the Donor.

Thomas & Susan Stogsdill Charitable Fund

To provide financial support to charitable and nonprofit purposes in Vermillion, SD and surrounding area at the recommendation of the Vermillion Area Community Foundation Advisory Council.

James & Dianne Gropper South Dakota Public Broadcasting Fund

To provide financial support to Friends of South Dakota Public Broadcasting as designated by the Donors.
